  • review rating 5  My husband and I did this tour on the last day of our trip. We loved it. Healthy horses kind staff with good sense of humor and knowledge. Gave us a full 2 hours of riding even though we started late because of getting everyone acclimated and comfortable with their horse. The trail was beautiful. Would absolutely reccomend and do again

  • review rating 4  I tell you the team/family running this horse trail tour is awesome. Seeing the scope/scale of the battlefield from this vantage comes as close it can to replicating the sights from the actual battle. The only reason I give this a single tic lower is the guide. The dude was super knowledgeable but my wife and I thought he could have painted a better picture. He was a bit random at times rather than telling a story about the immediate around you. Small dinge, his knowledge of the people and terrain was profound...but know the audience. We had kids with us who started to ignore him.

  • review rating 5  Loved every minute of this ride! Educational fun. It was "so cool!" Our guide, Andie D., is a seasoned- pro; a terrific storyteller. Mary Ellen and Trevor kept us all safe. Boss Zach was easy-going; yet, happy to help with anything the riders and/or horses needed. I immediately wanted to sign up for another trail ride with them. A Class Act.

  • review rating 5  Three of us recently visited and enjoyed this amazing experience. The staff were the nicest, friendliest, funny and above all thoughtful folks. Our guide Andi, was informative, enthusiastic, and so funny. I appreciated the ear buds so that each of us could easily hear our guide. The horses were friendly and easy to handle. Our tour lasted the full 2 hours and more. This was the highlight of our vacation. It is so easy to give this experience 5 stars! I would highly recommend this tour and experience for anybody wanting to learn about the Civil War in an authentic way. This was such a cool way to see the battlefield.

  • review rating 5  We have a really good time. The guide, John, was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Once he learned the day trip was the idea of my 12-year old son, he spoke directly to my son to make sure he understood. Plus, there were lots of fun stories along the way. Highly recommend!

review rating 5  An outstanding experience from start to finish. The staff was very friendly and efficient. they went over the rules and the tour in detail. Andy, the tour guide was entertaining and knowledgeable. The guides, Trevor and Rachael, helped us with any questions we had about our horses. All the horses were incredibly well behaved, which was a major relief to me - someone who has never ridden horseback before. I rode Emily and she was an angel and fun. I had a blast, I would gladly take this tour again!!

review rating 5  My oldest son has a passion for learning about the past of our nation, with that being said, the history buff he is turning to into, we decided to spend a day together to learn more about Gettysburg. One of the adventures of our day was the tour of the battlefield via horse drawn carriage. Eric, our tour guide was so knowledgeable, he kept my almost 10 year old entertained the entire two hours of the tour. Bill with his horses Fred and George provided some entertainment, via jokes and stories, along the way as well. Would totally recommend the horse tour to others!

  • review rating 5  Just took this tour with my sisters and two grandchildren, loved it. The tour guides were awesome and very patient with my grandson that never rode before. We have started a tradition in our family to do this twice a year and each time more family members come. Thanks so much for a wonderful day and my horse daisy was a gem. Teresa Stickell

review rating 5  I went on a walking tour of the Baltimore Street area that focused on the history of Gettysburg and the experience of the civilians during the Civil War. I was the only one to show up on a hot morning, but Ken Rich conducted a great tour, anyway. He was incredibly enthusiastic and informative, had lots of interesting stories to tell, and took the history all the way back to the settlement of the area, which was unexpected and very much appreciated. I'd been wanting to take one of these tours for several years but was never in town when one was offered. Am glad my schedule finally worked out--was worth the wait and I'd definitely do another tour with Ken in the future. He offers quite a few different ones on various topics, including one that focuses on the Civil War fighting that occurred in the streets of town--so probably something of interest available for everyone who's interested in history.

  • review rating 5  We had a blast on our 2 hour tour! The staff was so friendly and made our time there very enjoyable. I’ve been on other horse tours and this one was the best experience for me and my family. We really appreciated having an earpiece to hear the guide throughout the tour. We also traveled much further into the battlefield then the other tour we went on in years prior. Thank you for an amazing time! You all were awesome!

review rating 5  We took the two hour car tour and paid for an additional hour which made the experience even better. Our guide was professional but personable. His knowledge was solid and made our understand of the battle complete. Skp the buses and 29 buck self auto tours the only way to get a rich understanding of the battle is this private auto tour with a expert from the park service.

review rating 5  This was such an amazing experience. The staff was extremely welcoming, sociable, helpful, and were fully engaged for the entire two hours. They made us feel comfortable and welcomed from the start- even with little or no experience. The horses were incredible. They were well trained, friendly and patient with new riders. The staff even informed us of all of the personality traits of the horses we rode! We were given fully reliable information from a licensed tour guide, Mr. Truman. Living near Gettysburg, we have toured the battlefield multiple times on foot. This experience exceeded all others and was truly the best. Thank you!!!

review rating 5  We took a private tour of the battlefield -- auto and walking tour totaling 3 hours with Fran Freyocke. I went to do research for a book and Fran was amazing about ensuring that I went to all the spots applicable To my book, gave details about the regiments I needed and still gave a brilliant overview of the battle in entirety as we embarked on the journey. Time flew by and my husband and I were filled with information as Fran painted a picture and made us feel as if we were there. He was also open to any questions. Would go back and do again and learn even more.

review rating 5  My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful horse drawn carriage ride through Gettysburg. This wouldn't have been possible if it weren't for them adding tours that night for me. I checked their website, and they didn't have tours available that evening. I reached out via Facebook messenger, and they were kind enough to add tours for that evening. I would definitely recommend checking them out!
